A man has been mauled to death by a shark that tore off his arm and left him bleeding on a beach.
Paramedics desperately tried to save the man in his 30s after he was attacked off Emerald Beach in Coffs Harbour, NSW, about 11am on Sunday.
The man had his arm bitten off and suffered large lacerations to his back.
‘It doesn’t look good,’ NSW Ambulance said as efforts were made to save his life, which were ultimately unsuccessful.
Ambulance officers attempted to revive him, but he died as a result of his injuries.
