‘THE BOY IS A FORCE OF NATURE’ – Klopp begins Haaland charm-offensive
Jurgen Klopp has admitted his interest in Borussia Dortmund striker, Erling Haaland – and expects all of Europe’s top clubs to scrap for his signature.
Liverpool’s manager was full of praise for the Norway international during an interview with German publication Bild, with his words no doubt being music to the ears of Reds supporters who would love to see Haaland lining up in front of the Kop next season.
Asked if the Merseysiders would be keen on the BVB striker next summer, Klopp joked: “I don’t have his number. He’s just a very interesting player. I really like the energy he brings to the pitch. But he would generally be watched by most of the teams.”
Klopp added: “The boy is a force of nature. When he celebrated a goal, he hit the ball on the ground, so I wasn’t sure if there was a dent in the ground.”
