Sacked Emmerdale actor Luke Tittensor is best known for his role as Daz Eden on the ITV soap, but the baby-faced star looks nothing like what he used to.

The former child actor made his first appearance in the show back in October 2003 aged only 13, and was a hit with fans of the show until he was released from his contract six years later.

Luke, now 31, was convicted of grievous bodily harm in 2009, and due to the very serious nature of the crime.

Tittensor pleaded guilty to a charge of grievous bodily harm against an unnamed 16-year-old in Rochdale on 15 February 2008 which left the victim with a fractured jaw.

His Emmerdale contract was terminated in April 2009 as a result of his conviction, with his last appearance in the show occurring the same month.

On 29 April 2009, Luke received a nine-month suspended jail sentence for the assault.

He was also ordered to complete 200 hours’ unpaid work and to pay £1,000 compensation to the victim.

Since leaving the ITV soap, he’s starred in a number of other British TV productions, including Waterloo Road, Casualty, and Moving On.

Luke is also fame for his role as Carl Gallagher in Shameless, a role he shared with his twin brother, Elliott Tittensor.

The Tittensor twins shared the role of Carl Gallagher and Elliott continued playing the role of Carl after Luke left the show.

The identical twin brothers also appeared in the soap Brookside.

Both of the twins look completely unrecognisable these days in comparison to the fresh faced teens they once portrayed, the former child stars have now grown long beards, long hair and are heavily tattooed.

Luke isn’t very active on social media, but does have an account, which shows him sporting long dreadlocked hair.

His twin brother Elliot posts quite frequently in comparison and regularly shares snaps of the two of them.

A friend of the twins has also shared a number of snaps of Luke, tagging him in snaps where he’s modelling a clothing range, sporting long hair and a thick beard.

Elliot has also continued to work as an actor since his role in Shameless came to an end in 2013.

In 2013 he starred in Spike Island, a film about The Stone Roses, while in 2015 he played Terry Singer in North V South.
